  • 20+ years business experience
  • B.Eng., University of Waterloo; M.B.A., University of Calgary

Gary has more than 19 years of work experience with a strong background in project management, business strategy development, process improvement and customer service. He has worked on a wide variety of projects ranging from engineering and construction projects for the natural gas industry to strategy development and implementation in the high tech and not-for-profit sectors.

Gary led multi-disciplined teams responsible for all aspects of designing, constructing, and commissioning compressor stations, metering stations and pipelines with total expenditures over $100 milllion. In a company-wide re-engineering initiative for a major natural gas transmission company, Gary performed extensive market analysis, designed and implemented new business processes and organizational structures, and provided business and process expertise for the implementation of a new computer system (SAP). As part of a new pricing and products strategy for a leading natural gas transmission company, Gary was involved in developing a suite of new services and a radically new price model to improve the company’s competitive position. Implementation of the strategy involved lengthy negotiations with industry representatives for an industry wide settlement, and subsequent regulatory approval.
